Improving Healthcare Together
It is well known that Epsom and St Helier hospitals have faced significant challenges for many years in terms of the suitability of their buildings and how their acute services are organised.
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals Trust has recently set out its own view of these challenges and how we should respond to them. Following a public engagement programme with local people and organisations, the Trust has produced a Strategic Outline Case for investment in its services.
In response to this, local NHS commissioning organisations - Merton, Sutton and Surrey Downs CCGs – have set up our Acute Sustainability Programme, to look in detail at the challenges faced by the
Trust and how we can best ensure that the hospitals continue to deliver high quality, safe and sustainable services for local people in the years ahead.
We will look at all the evidence and work with the Trust and local people to decide the best way forward.
The Surrey Downs CCG, Sutton CCG and Merton CCG Committees in Common meeting will take place on 21st June 2018, 18.00 - 19.45. Location: 120 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RH.
Attending the meeting
The Committees in Common is committed to openness and transparency, and will conduct as much of its business as possible in a session that members of the public are welcome to attend and observe, subject to available space.

The agenda and papers for the meetings are available online on CCG websites in advance.
