About Sutton Uplift

Sutton Uplift is an innovative new integrated primary care mental health service which is an integral part of NHS Sutton CCG's commitment to offer enhanced primary care mental health services and evidence based psychological therapy services to Sutton's communities.

Sutton Uplift is accessible to anyone who is 18 years and over, lives in the borough of Sutton or is registered with a Sutton GP. The service supports anyone who has a mental health or wellbeing need, whether this is due to emotional difficulties or life stressors. Sutton Uplift also offers a service for people with a stable mental health diagnosis such as psychosis and bipolar affective disorder.

Sutton Uplift is a partnership between the NHS and local voluntary sector organisations and launched on 1 July 2015.

With values based on empowerment and building resilience within the community support is tailored to the individual. The service has four key elements:

  • The Referral Centre
  • Recovery Team
  • IAPT (Improving access to Psychological therapies)
  • Wellbeing

Wellbeing is core to the Sutton Uplift service with Wellbeing Navigators working in collaboration with all elements within Sutton Uplift.

The service can support your mental health and wellbeing needs through a number of ways including:

  • Self management courses
  • Psychological therapies
  • Psychiatric assessments
  • Recovery and Wellbeing support

If you think Sutton Uplift can be of help and are interested in finding out more about the service please call or complete the referral form on Sutton Uplift's website (www.suttonuplift.co.uk). You do not need to be referred by your GP or any other professional. Just get in touch with the team and they can talk through whether the service is for you. They aim to support people with wellbeing in many ways so no problem is considered to be too small.

They aim to make the service as accessible as possible and they offer some evening and Saturday morning sessions.
