Are you aged 11 – 25 in Sutton? Support available to help your mental wellbeing
At times life can be difficult and it can be especially difficult at this time of year when you have to go back to school, college or university after the Christmas and New Year break. It can be hard to manage and you can feel lots of different things - sad, scared, hopeless or angry. Often we keep all our feelings and thoughts inside ourselves and this can make things worse.
It is OK to ask for help and support if you are finding it difficult to cope. In Sutton we have a number of services to support the mental wellbeing of our young people:
Off The Record (OTR), Sutton's counselling service for young people (aged 11 – 25 years) offers:
- Counselling: Free and confidential counselling to young people aged 11-25 in the Borough of Sutton.
- Drop-In: Drop In service for young people aged 14+ every Tuesday from 3.30-5.30pm.
- Online Support: Free online counselling for young people aged 14-25.
- Sutton Uplift: Primary care mental health service promoting for ages 18+.

School nurse drop in: Sutton's school nurses will also provide a drop in service during term time at local schools.
Support for parents and carers: if you are concerned about your child please contact the Sutton Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Single Point of Access (SPA) on 020 3513 3800 (option 1) and ask to speak to the duty clinician, who will be available 9am-5pm to discuss any concerns.
